The match
A better route wins.
Both players receive the same three randomly selected puzzles. Each round gives you up to two minutes to find your best solution.
Keep improving
Your best valid solution is saved automatically. Try a shorter route, or lock it when you are ready.
Earn the points
A round win earns 2 points. Equal move counts earn 1 each. Speed never breaks a tie.
Choose your match
A friend, a new opponent or the computer.
Private rooms
Create a room and share its code with a friend. Choose the puzzle set and difficulty together.
Public rooms
Browse open rooms, inspect the match settings and take the available seat.
Offline practice
Play the computer without an account or connection. Set puzzle difficulty and computer strength separately.

Three steps to a match.
Choose the challenge
Pick Mixed for varied puzzles, then choose Basic, Advanced or Challenge difficulty.
Meet in a room
Share a private room code or join a public room. Check the settings and mark Ready. The match starts when both players are ready.
Find your route
Play three rounds on separate boards. The player with the most points wins the match.

A simple profile. A clear choice.
Online play is optional and restricted to players aged 18 and over. Computer matches stay offline and are available to all ages.

Online profiles use a generated alias and an icon from a fixed set. There is no chat or custom profile text.

Can I play Arena now?
Online Arena is in preparation for a future app release. Matches run inside ChronoTrace on iOS and Android; this website previews the mode.
What if both players use the same number of moves?
The round is a draw and each player earns 1 point. If neither player solves the puzzle, neither scores. Equal match totals also mean a draw.
Can I practise offline?
Yes. Computer matches need no account or internet connection and are available to all ages. They do not change your online rating.
What will other players see?
Your generated alias, chosen icon and match profile, including rating and match count. You do not need to publish your real name, and there is no chat.
